Play DoodleBob and the Magic Pencil

In this fascinating video game, two separate magic pencils make their appearance. Patrick is seen using one of these magical tools to draw Timmy Turner, Arnold Shortman, and Otto Rocket in the second level. Not only can it be spotted on the title screen, but it also serves as a weapon.

The creative possibilities are endless with this magic pencil! With its help, DoodleBob was brought to life, along with other incredible creations. However, after the chaos caused by DoodleBob's antics, the pencil is thrown back into the boat where the artist finds it - only for the lead to break.

Fortunately, the pencil falls off the artist's boat and into the water, where SpongeBob and Patrick discover it. They use it to create magic drawings that come to life under the sea. Some of these amazing creations include Frankendoodle, DoodleBob (book), Don't Pencil Me In!, Stick Together!, and ScribbleBob DoodlePants!

Interestingly, the pencil has an anchor symbol slightly below its eraser. Despite its magical abilities, it resembles a regular pencil with lead and a built-in eraser.

Trivia

* The game was later featured in Nick's Not So Ultimate Boss Battles (2.6) and Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition (2.4).

* Creations/Drawings that got erased with the pencil have been documented (1.2), along with creations made with the magic pencil (1.1).

* A similar phenomenon occurred when a tweet about a skater boy went viral, spread by joke aggregators like and others.

The Rise of DoodleBob as a Meme

On October 29th, 2014, Twitter user tweeted a play on the 'When said' tweet format by tweeting 'When DoodleBob said, 'ME HOY MINOY NOY MEMY OY!'' with several reaction images (shown below). This marked the beginning of DoodleBob's journey to meme stardom.

The original release date of the game remains unknown, but it is still downloadable and playable via Gamejolt. As of July 28th, 2016, the video has garnered over 9,000,000 views.

Playthrough

On April 3rd, 2013, Youtube user Zetto Keero uploaded a playthrough of him playing 'DoodleBob and the Magic Pencil,' a video game made by TechnoSuperguy. People began using Doodlebob's signature 'mihoyminoy' cry as a way to punctuate their jokes, inserting it into videos.

Doodlebob remained an iconic Spongebob character but didn't begin to achieve meme status until February 8th, 2013, when an image macro of DoodleBob appeared on memegenerator.
